MIT Sandbox Innovation Fund
Based at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Sandbox program provides the core methodology for MASA. They offer tailored educational experiences, seed funding, and mentorship to help students develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of successful entrepreneurs.

EXPLORER
Developed by UM6P (Mohammed VI Polytechnic University) in Morocco, the EXPLORER program connects African innovators. Through this partnership, MASA participants gain access to a pan-African network of startups, scaling opportunities, and cross-border collaboration.

University of Botswana (UB)
As Botswana’s premier institution of higher learning, UB provides academic rigour, faculty expertise, and a vast student talent pool. UB serves as a primary host for the program, bridging the gap between theoretical research and commercial application.

UniPod (University Innovation Pod)
The UniPod is the "engine room" of the MASA program. It provides the physical makerspace, rapid prototyping tools (3D printers, laser cutters), and technical resources students need to turn abstract concepts into tangible, functional prototypes.

The Botswana International University of Science and Technology brings deep technical expertise to the program. Focused on research-intensive innovation, BIUST supports startups tackling complex engineering and scientific challenges.
